First Friday in The District // Friday, February 3rd

With live music, art and entertainment, this is a great event to get out and discover The North Village Arts District! First Fridays typically happen from 6 PM - 9 PM but hours may vary by venue. View a map/guide and get a list of participating venues at northvillageartdistrict.org

2023 MO Bacon & Bourbon Festival // Saturday, February 4th

Grab tickets for this fun, unique event where you can sample Bacon, Bourbon, Bacon Treats, Fine Spirits, Cocktails and Beer while listening to Live Music. Tickets for this are $40 and are required for entrance. Click here to get yours now!

True/Love 2023 in The District // Saturday, February 4th

On Saturday, February 4th, shop at participating retailers and 10% of the day's proceeds will go back to True/False! Stroll through The District, indulge in some good ol' fashioned consumerism with a clear conscience: you'll be sustaining local businesses and a local arts institution. Storytellers: Gabe Meyer at Boone County History & Culture Center // Friday, February 10th

Boone County Historical Society and The Big Muddy Music Hour present: Storytellers: Gabe Meyer. Hailing from the muddy banks of Hannibal, MO, Gabe Meyer has forged a name for himself as the harbinger of his own iterations of traditional and original blues tunes as the frontman of Mid-MO legends The Flood Brothers. Now, he will be gracing the Montminy Gallery with stories and rootsy blues tunes as our musical guest in the next edition of the Boone County Historical Society's Storytellers Concert Series. Join us as Meyer will play two sets aside from the Blind Boone Piano. Adult beverages and refreshments are furnished by our kind sponsor Dive Bar! Football & Foals - Game Day Watch Party at Warm Springs Ranch // Sunday, February 12th

Felt Succulent Workshop at Plume // Thursday, February 16th

Join our friends at Plume for this unique workshop, taught by Beth Costello from Heartgrooves Handmade. Beth will teach you all about crafting with felt. You'll complete a beautiful decor project during the workshop to take with you + learn all the skills needed to create additional felt succulent crafts at home! Create a felt succulent arrangement in a wooden dough bowl - succulents included are Aloe, Airplant, Crassula, Aeonium & String of Pearls. Workshop is 2 hours and costs $59 per person. Mardi Gras Madness at Mid America Harley-Davidson // Saturday, February 18th

Stop by Mid America Harley-Davidson for a free crawfish boil to celebrate Mardi Gras and check out the new things they have in store for the 120th anniversary! Event starts at noon and lasts until everything is gone. Free beer can be redeemed via vouchers.

Let Them Eat Art at Columbia Art League // Tuesday, February 21st

Indulge all your senses in this glorious evening of food, merriment, and art! Local chefs from Columbia are invited to pick a piece of art from the gallery to use as inspiration for a dish of finger food. Columbia Art League welcomes you to enjoy this food with them, meet their chefs, and celebrate with other guests! 6PM - 8PM

A Pour for a Paw at Columbia Elks Lodge 594 // Friday, February 24th

Armani's Angels presents: A Pour for a Paw! A Pour for a Paw is a wine, beer, & spirits tasting event at The Elks Lodge in Columbia, MO on Friday, February 24th, 2023 at 6pm. This will be an evening of delicious complimentary wine, whiskey, and vodka tastings, as well as delectable hors d'oeuvres. Live auction preview will be posted in the coming weeks! The event will feature multiple fantastic wines chosen by Paul at Top Ten Wines, along with spirits provided by Macadoodle's and Tito's Vodka. 17th Annual MFA Oil Rootin Tootin Chili Cookoff Presented by JES Holdings // Saturday, February 25th

This is the “funnest fundraiser” around! Benefitting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbia, MO, grab a ticket and enjoy great live music as you sample all the chili you can eat from tons of local teams. The competing teams build elaborate booths and costumes to create a fun and festive atmosphere while competing for several awards including the Grand Chili Champion!
